Background Magnetic island saturation and rotational transform plateaus in helical fusion plasmas have lacked a first-principles structural explanation within conventional magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). This Work This work introduces the Formal Causation Field Φ (x) as a scalar order parameter governing structural degrees of freedom in three-dimensional magnetic geometry. The field arises from a variational action with quartic self-interaction, whose stationary solutions define structural attractors—preferred topological configurations toward which plasma magnetic fields evolve. Key Discovery A nontrivial odd-system attractor λ₃* = 0. 152044, originally derived from the structural coherence maximum of the three-qubit GHZ state, is shown to be mathematically isomorphic to discrete features of helical magnetic topology.
