Semileptonic c _ decays in light-cone QCD sum rules with c distribution amplitudes
Key Points
This study aims to investigate the semileptonic decay process of Lambda_c baryons using light-cone QCD sum rules.
Utilized light-cone QCD sum rules to analyze Lambda_c to Lambda transitions.
Employed two sets of Lambda_c baryon distribution amplitudes for numerical analysis.
Parameterized form factors using a model-independent z-series expansion.
Calculated differential and total decay widths based on derived form factors.
The predicted branching fractions align well with BESIII measurements.
Results are consistent with those obtained from lattice-QCD calculations.
Abstract
Abstract We study the semileptonic decay of its SU (3) partner, the c ^+ _ Λ c → Λ ℓ + ν ℓ (= e, ℓ = e, μ) transition, within the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules (LCSR) by using the distribution amplitudes of heavy c Λ c baryon. The numerical analysis is performed using two different sets of c Λ c baryon light-cone distribution amplitudes. The resulting form factors are parametrized by a model-independent z -series expansion and used to compute the differential and total decay widths. Our predictions for the branching fractions are in good agreement with the latest BESIII measurements and with lattice-QCD results.
