Culajay Type Preprint / Report Language English License Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Abstract (Description) Fractal Mechanics extends the E³ architecture—Fractal Entropy, Fractal Equilibrium, and Fractal Evolution—to the molecular scale, demonstrating that the emergence of molecular machines is a thermodynamic inevitability. In this framework, entropy does not create complexity; it filters it. Each molecular configuration is tested against the Stability(E) curve, where only structures capable of sustaining Dynamic Equilibrium persist, while all others collapse. At the stability peak (Ψ), entropy’s regulatory capacity is maximal: energy flow, environmental constraints, and structural boundaries align to produce coherent, self-maintaining motion. Deviations above or below Ψ reduce regulatory capacity, forcing reorganization and driving iterative refinement. Across recursive Ψ → Ψ′ transitions, gene duplication, mutagenesis, and mechanochemical coupling generate progressively more efficient energy-flow architectures. Molecular machines such as the flagellar motor, ATP synthase, and cytoskeletal transport systems are therefore not engineered inventions, but thermodynamic survivors—steady states left standing after thousands of less efficient configurations have been eliminated. Fractal Mechanics reveals life’s deepest continuity: from molecules to organisms, evolution is the fractal repetition of the same universal process—Energy drives change, Environment constrains possibilities, and Entropy regulates motion into structure.
