In the context of the increasing global demand for renewable energy, photovoltaic (PV) systems have emerged as a promising solution for sustainable power generation. This paper presents a novel cascaded prototype for DC-DC converters, designed specifically for renewable energy applications. The proposed prototype offers a cost-effective and highly efficient solution for implementing various Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms and advanced control methods. A comprehensive review of existing literature on PV applications, MPPT techniques, and DC-DC converters is provided, followed by detailed descriptions of the design, implementation, and experimental validation of the proposed prototype. Experimental findings demonstrate significant improvements in efficiency, response time, and adaptability across varying operating conditions. The results show that the proposed design outperforms conventional converters, offering a more robust solution for optimizing energy extraction in PV systems. This research addresses key challenges in conventional converter designs and outlines future research directions, with potential applications in enhancing the performance of renewable energy systems..
