favu label is a student-led platform emerging from the FFA BUT, dedicated to presenting, archiving, and sharing music and sound projects created by students, alumni, and faculty friends. Founded as a collective initiative, the label prioritizes community, collaboration, and mutual support over formal academic positioning. Its activities include open-call releases, live events, and reflecting the music industry, positioning of sound in the fine arts, and maintaining an attitude of resistance to mainstream streaming services and their industrial entanglements. Its visual identity, collaborative ethos, and public events contribute to a lively, evolving portrait of performance-based audio work and other interdisciplinary projects emerging at the Czech cultural scene.
