Agricultural systems face ever-growing volumes of heterogeneous data and tightening regulatory demands, especially as the EU Data Act raises expectations for transparency and responsible data governance. In response, we conceptualize an open-core, AI-assisted Farm Management System (FMS) that enables sovereign data spaces to foster interoperability, support digital sovereignty, and preserve farmer control of data across the agricultural value chain. We leverage Odoo – an open-core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system – as the foundation where large language model agents automate module creation and maintenance. This approach positions customization as the engine that drives interoperability, automation, and future capabilities. Operated by a non-profit organization, the platform reinforces social inclusion, economic resilience, and ecological responsibility.
