Systemic lupus erythematosus and associated organ damage in real-world settings: estimating damage scores using administrative claims data
Key Points
This research aims to assess how administrative claims data can estimate damage scores in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Utilized administrative claims data for analysis
Estimated damage scores in patients with SLE
Examined the correlation between damage scores and economic burden
Damage scores can be effectively estimated using administrative claims data
Higher damage scores are associated with greater economic burdens on patients
Abstract
Our findings suggest that real-world administrative claims data can effectively estimate damage scores in patients with SLE, and that the increase in scores correlates with a higher economic burden.
