A keynote presentation at EuroCD 2025 – 8th European Cyclodextrin Conference that compared theoretical and experimental values to shed light on the synthesis efficiency and structure–property relationships of cyclodextrin-based nanosponges (CD-NSs). These nanosponges are emerging as promising oral delivery systems for apomorphine. The study highlighted the importance of understanding cyclodextrin reactivity with cross-linking agents, which is key to designing tailored materials and expanding the industrial applications of CD-NSs.
Hoti et al. (Thu,) studied this question.
