It is known that LENR cannot exist from the perspective of modern nuclear physics. However, it is also well known that at low temperatures, phenomena exist that cannot be explained except in terms of nuclear processes. Below, a theory is proposed that can be used to calculate the isotopes that make up 85% of the Earth's crust. This same theory also implies that the percentage of uranium is two orders of magnitude greater than the percentage of gold, making it theoretically possible to obtain gold from mercury. The theory is based on the properties of objects with circulating light. These properties favor the interaction of nearby nuclei, which are considered bound oscillators that can interact at a distance without overcoming the Coulomb barrier. In this case, energy from one oscillator can transfer to another, leading to instability, in which the nuclei transition to a new state with less stored energy and the same number of neutrons and protons. In essence, the LENR reaction, a nucleon exchange reaction (LENREN), occurs. Approximately 1,000 similar LENRENs are presented. The reaction products are isotopes of two types. Some isotopes cannot undergo such nuclear reactions, while others can. It is shown that the Earth's crust consists of isotopes of the former type, indicating that an excess of such isotopes led to the cessation of LENRENs during the formation of the Earth. It is shown how heavy elements can form as a result of such reactions. A table of isotopes is provided, obtained from an analysis of all possible LENRENs, containing the number of possible LENRENs and the percentage of each isotope in the Earth's crust. An analysis of this table confirms the validity of the above statements.
