This paper presents a novel hypothesis linking consciousness, dreams, and evolution by scientifically examining the origins of religion through the schizoid process. Drawing on symbolic cognition, internal radiation theory, and dream analysis, the study proposes that religious structures emerge from subconscious symbolic processing in schizoid states. By reframing mystical experiences as cognitive phenomena, this work offers a scientific model for understanding spiritual narratives and suggests a new evolutionary function for symbolic art and dreams.
