Product quality control allows for the timely identification of faulty equipment and the adoption of measures to restore it. It is necessary to change goal-setting when planning work on the maintenance and repair of production equipment: the main goal is to ensure the specified quality of the product during the processing/assembly process. In quality management systems, the statistical method of quality control of similar parts and finished products is widely used, which is carried out in accordance with the principle of acceptance control according to the method of A.N. Kolmogorov. It is proposed to evaluate consistently the quality of manufactured products according to the following criteria: product performance, correctability of defects, and economic feasibility of correcting defects. The directions for development of quality control methods have been identified.
