Breast lymphoma is rare and may be misdiagnosed as poorly differentiated breast carcinoma. Studies have also shown that radiotherapy for breast cancer increases the risk of a second non-breast cancer, such as lymphomas. We present a case of breast lymphoma occurring in a 62-year-old woman treated 10 years prior for ipsilateral invasive ductal carcinoma, with breast conserving surgery, adjuvant radiotherapy, and hormonal therapy. While undergoing annual mammograms for surveillance, a 1.4 cm irregular hypoechoic lesion was detected in the 10 th year with a concordant palpable lump; worrisome for recurrence.
