Abstract

The Geneva Bridge is a policy brief prepared by the Geneva AI Governance Institute (GAIGI) for MC14 (Yaoundé, 26–29 March 2026). It proposes a voluntary, WTO-anchored interoperability mechanism that maps functional equivalences between divergent national AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST, China, Korea, Japan, Brazil), enabling compliance documentation produced in one jurisdiction to be recognized in others.
