Education plays a pivotal role in fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem within Uganda's business sector. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative survey data was employed to explore perceptions and practices related to entrepreneurship education among stakeholders. Business students exhibited significantly higher entrepreneurial intentions (p < 0.05) compared to non-students, highlighting the potential of educational interventions in nurturing entrepreneurial spirit. The findings suggest that business education programmes can be effectively utilised as a mechanism for fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem within Uganda's business sector. Educational institutions should integrate more entrepreneurship-focused curricula and support systems to better equip students with the skills needed for innovative ventures.
