Digital mental health services have gained traction globally as a means to address the growing demand for psychological care in urban populations. In Ghana, these services are increasingly being adopted by both service providers and users. A comprehensive literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and African Journals Online (AJOL), focusing on studies published between and. Studies were selected based on relevance to digital mental health services in urban Ghanaian contexts. Digital mental health service uptake among urban populations in Ghana was found to vary significantly, with a proportion of approximately 45% adopting these services. Factors influencing adoption included accessibility (68%), cost (32%), and user experience (20%). The review highlights the need for further research on digital mental health service effectiveness and potential barriers to wider adoption. Healthcare providers should develop tailored marketing strategies to address user concerns, such as cost and accessibility. Policymakers could consider subsidizing services or integrating them into existing healthcare systems. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
