Health systems in Africa have faced significant challenges during epidemics, necessitating resilience strategies to mitigate adverse effects. The research employs a comparative case study approach, leveraging secondary data from reputable sources including government reports and academic journals. Qualitative thematic analysis is used to synthesize findings across the selected countries. Analysis revealed that Nigeria's health system demonstrated notable resilience in managing the Ebola outbreak of -, with community engagement playing a crucial role in containment efforts. The study underscores the importance of strong community ties and effective communication channels for enhancing epidemic response capabilities. Future research should focus on replicating these successful strategies.
