Abstract. We propose a hypothetical model in which consciousness is viewed not as a product of computation but as a dynamic interface for maintaining coherence between biologicalsystems and fundamental sources of physical noise (quantum vacuum fluctuations). The modelintegrates concepts from quantum biology, epigenetics, and complex systems theory, suggestingthat the genome acts as a “tuning antenna” for coherence, while consciousness functions as amulti-level stabilizer linking neural dynamics, genomic regulation, and background physical fluctuations. Epigenetic modifications are treated as slow control parameters modulating systemstability rather than mere information carriers. We discuss evolutionary implications, includingthe hypothesis of “genetic wars” as conflicts between incompatible coherence patterns, and propose experimentally testable predictions at the levels of population genetics, neurodynamics,and bioelectromagnetic measurements.
