Nigerian district hospitals play a critical role in healthcare provision but often face challenges that affect service delivery and patient safety. A mixed-method approach was employed, including quantitative panel data estimation to assess the impact of various interventions aimed at reducing risks associated with healthcare delivery in district hospitals across Nigeria. The panel data revealed significant reductions (p<0. 05) in infection rates by 20% after implementing enhanced hygiene protocols in selected districts. This research underscores the importance of systematic evaluation and targeted interventions to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare risks. Further studies should explore broader systemic changes that can be implemented at a national level to ensure consistent risk reduction across all district hospitals.
