Large molecular sequence datasets are often processed on remote servers and within command-line pipelines, where using graphical viewers is inconvenient. SeqTUI provides a fast terminal-based viewer coupled with a command-line toolkit for routine operations on nucleotide and amino-acid sequences. The interactive mode supports intuitive arrow-key navigation and optional Vim-style shortcuts, along with search and on-the-fly translations, while remaining responsive on large alignments. The command-line mode emphasizes Unix composability (stdin/stdout) for format conversion, translation across NCBI genetic codes, concatenation/supermatrix construction, and SNP extraction. SeqTUI is implemented in Rust and released as open-source software under the MIT License.
