Abstract

Localized myxofibrosarcoma (MFS) is a rare soft tissue sarcoma with a high risk of local recurrence. However, the clinical benefit of adjuvant therapy remains controversial, particularly among Korean patients. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of adjuvant treatment and to identify prognostic factors in patients with localized MFS.

Die adjuvante Chemotherapie und/oder Strahlentherapie wurde im Vergleich zu keiner adjuvanten Therapie auf das lokale Rückfall-freie Überleben (LFS) und das Gesamtüberleben (OS) bewertet (Adjuvante Chemotherapie aHR für LFS 1,02 (95% CI: 0,53-1,98), aHR für OS 0,99 (95% CI: 0,38-2,61); Adjuvante Strahlentherapie aHR für LFS 1,11 (95% CI: 0,60-2,03), aHR für OS 0,90 (95% CI: 0,42-1,91)). Die adjuvante Chemotherapie und Strahlentherapie zeigten keinen signifikanten Einfluss auf das lokale Rückfall-freie Überleben oder das Gesamtüberleben bei Patienten mit lokalisiertem Myxofibrosarkom nach einer medianen Nachbeobachtungszeit von 89 Monaten.
