AbstractPresent paper deals with the two new plant species added to the Angiospermic flora of Amravati district, Maharashtra state, India along with detail description, phenology and ecology. These two species are: Heliotropium indicum L. belonging to family Boraginaceae and Physalis pruinosa L. belonging to family Solanaceae. Heliotropium indicum is an annual herbaceous medicinal weed, while Physalis pruinosa is a plant species having spreading habit with the fruits developing in papery husk. Both of the species are new to the flora of Amravati district.
