This preprint introduces the Design Science Research Effectiveness Scale (DSRES), a novel framework for assessing the effectiveness of Design Science Research (DSR) in project management contexts. DSRES is conceptualized as a second-order construct composed of five dimensions: Rigor, Utility, Knowledge, Engagement, and Evaluation. The purpose of this deposit is to establish authorship and provide a preliminary conceptual version of the DSRES framework. The International Journal of Project Management (IJPM) will receive full empirical validation, statistical analyses, and a longer discussion. By registering this preprint on Zenodo, the authors ensure a permanent DOI and timestamp, protecting intellectual ownership while making the conceptual foundations of DSRES openly accessible to the academic community. Note: This is not the final version of the article. It is a conceptual preprint intended to safeguard the originality of the idea and provide visibility prior to formal peer-reviewed publication.
