Phenanthroimidazole-based gels for information encryption via synergistic acidichromism and light harvesting
Key Points
Gels exhibit unique properties for information encryption through acid-induced changes, enhancing security.
The combination of phenanthroimidazole and polyvinyl alcohol creates two distinct gel types, PYFS and PYFF.
Experimental analysis explores the effects of acidichromism and light harvesting on gel performance.
Potential applications could revolutionize secure data transmission and encryption technologies.
Abstract
To address information encryption limitations, we combined phenanthroimidazole derivative YF with PVA to prepare PYFS (acid-induced white-light gel) and PYFF (light-harvesting white-light gel).
