The hospitality sector in Bangalore, a major urban and tourism hub, relies heavily on a skilled workforce to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction. This study examines the influence of employee skills on job performance, service delivery, and career advancement among hotel industry professionals in Bangalore. Using primary data collected through structured questionnaires and interviews from 150 employees across various star-rated hotels, the analysis explores the relationship between technical, interpersonal, and managerial skills and key performance outcomes. Findings suggest that soft skills and continuous skill development initiatives have a significant impact on employee productivity, guest satisfaction, and organisational competitiveness. The study highlights the importance of training programs and skill enhancement strategies as crucial components for sustainable workforce development in the hospitality sector. Recommendations are provided for hotel management to strengthen skill-based human resource practices and align them with industry standards and employee aspirations.
