Physics experiment is a fundamental core course for cultivating students’ independent learning and practical innovation abilities in science and engineering schools. In the new era, there are also new requirements for talent cultivation towards the forefront of science and state-requirements. To meet the requirements, the construction of physics experiment teaching courses were constructed for a new school. Based on the teaching concept of “improving students’ abilities to discover, analyze, and solve practical problems, as well as their ability to explore new knowledge through experiments” and the multilevel experimental teaching model of “fundamental, deepening, improvement, and expansion levels”, the knowledge points are reorganized, and the relevant elements of the comprehensive experiments for the senior are interspersed in the experimental projects of the lower grade experimental projects in terms of knowledge, technology, and standards. In the reform of experimental teaching, the devices are modularized and visualized, and the instruments are digitized and universalized, making them more suitable for problem-oriented and independent learning teaching methods, and initial effects have been achieved.
