Internal oxidation is significantly influenced by interfacial segregation of Sn microalloying.
Observations indicate that higher Sn content leads to increased oxidation resistance in these alloys.
Analysis of oxidation mechanisms reveals specific interactions at the alloy interfaces.
Findings suggest that microalloying with Sn could optimize the properties of Fe–Mn–Si based alloys.
