Results of a thermal analysis of a permanent magnet synchronous machine winding are presented. Winding additively manufactured from AlSi10Mg aluminum alloy with integrated liquid cooling channels is considered. Electromagnetic simulation was performed to calculate losses using the Ansys Maxwell software, followed by a thermal analysis using the Ansys Fluent software. Thermal analysis results confirm the designed winding’s efficiency, demonstrating the feasibility of maintaining temperatures within acceptable limits, which opens up prospects for the development of lightweight and powerful next-generation electric machines.
