Does substrate-based VT ablation reduce VT burden and ICD therapies?
Substrate-based VT ablation effectively reduces overall VT burden and ICD therapies, although long-term recurrence remains high, particularly in patients with lower EF and persistent late potentials.
Despite a high recurrence rate during long-term follow-up, substrate-based VT ablation is related to a large reduction in VT burden and a decrease in ICD therapies. Lower EF and persistence of late potentials are predictors of recurrence.
