The study unfolded how stakeholders’ partnerships in school-initiated programs were built and maintained between schools and the surrounding community. On the experiences of school principal in engaging stakeholders’ partnerships in school-initiated programs, there were two themes under positive experiences which were different perspectives and promoting environmental learning practices. There were also two themes under negative experiences which were communication gap and conflicting schedule. Meanwhile, on coping with the challenges of stakeholders’ partnership in school-initiated programs, three themes emerged from the responses of the participants which were recognizing and awarding stakeholders, maintaining good communication, and envisioning how best to prepare stakeholders for engagement. Lastly, on the insights gained from the experiences of teachers, three themes generated which were establish transparency, build trust, and create lifelong partnership, and the importance of administrative support. These implied that should involve the stakeholders in productive process leading to new, collaborative, and innovative forms of value creation. Moreover, the results generated provided comprehensive data in conducting future research with similar scope.
