Community health centres in Senegal are pivotal for delivering healthcare services to rural populations. However, their effectiveness and reliability can vary significantly across different settings. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from surveys and observational studies with qualitative insights from interviews. A hierarchical linear model (HLM) was used to analyse survey responses, accounting for potential clustering effects within healthcare facilities. Survey results indicated a moderate improvement in patient satisfaction scores (eta = 0. 35, p < 0. 01), with a significant increase in service availability attributed to enhanced staffing levels (92% confidence interval). The quasi-experimental design successfully identified key areas for system reliability enhancement, particularly in personnel and infrastructure. Investment in training programmes should be prioritised to improve the quality of care. Additionally, regular maintenance of facilities is recommended to maintain optimal service delivery.
