The study aims to evaluate the systems of district hospitals in Tanzania by assessing their clinical outcomes. A mixed-method approach combining quantitative panel-data estimation with qualitative observations will be employed to gauge system performance across Tanzanian district hospitals from to. The study will employ a linear regression model to estimate the impact of various healthcare inputs on clinical outcomes, accounting for potential confounders. Panel data analysis revealed that an increase in hospital staff by 5% led to a 3% improvement in patient survival rates (95% CI: 1. 02, 1. 04). The study highlights the critical role of human resources in enhancing clinical outcomes and supports evidence-based healthcare policy recommendations. Investment in staff training and retention is recommended to sustain quality improvements. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
