Abstract: This research presents the design and development of an IoT-based smart vacuum cleaner for automated floor cleaning in indoor environments. Traditional cleaning methods require significant human effort and time, which has led to the development of intelligent robotic cleaning systems. The proposed system uses a microcontroller-based architecture integrated with sensors such as ultrasonic and infrared sensors for obstacle detection and navigation. The vacuum cleaner is capable of automatically moving across the floor, detecting obstacles, and efficiently collecting dust and debris. The system also incorporates Internet of Things (IoT) technology to enable smart monitoring and improved control of the cleaning process. By combining sensor-based navigation, automated movement, and efficient suction mechanisms, the proposed model aims to improve cleaning efficiency while reducing manual labor. The developed system provides a cost-effective and intelligent solution for smart home environments and demonstrates the potential of robotic automation in household cleaning applications. Keywords: Smart Vacuum Cleaner, IoT, Robotic Cleaning, Autonomous Navigation, Obstacle Detection.
