Abstract

Artificial Intelligence then Consciousness Studies then Quantum BiologyEvery artificial intelligence system built since 1956 is missing a foundational architectural layer. That layer is emotion — not performed emotion, not simulated empathy, but a real, measurable, electromagnetic phenomenon. This work names the missing layer AE — Artificial Emotion — and proposes a complete technical, scientific, and philosophical framework for its implementation.
