This deliverable introduces into the 7 heterogeneous business cases and demonstrations of BlueBird and their plans for implementing the project and evaluating project achievements on demonstration level. It defines the general functionality of the BlueBird system via the presentation of the high-level use case system that contains functionalities (e.g., optimization, market integration) and affected assets (e.g., EV charging stations, heat pumps), so that these can be merged into specific use cases at the pilots’ sites. Then it presents the BlueBird evaluation system consisting of KPIs in three different domains and approaches to KPI calculation, both for process and for impact related KPIs (which includes SRI monitoring), focusing on the impact of BlueBird. Finally, it presents detailed descriptions of the starting positions at the pilot sites, of their technical and social fabric, the specific use cases they intend to apply and the implementation plans through which pilot partners intend to realize the use cases.
