Microfinance initiatives have been introduced to support small-scale entrepreneurs in Nairobi slums, particularly female market women who often face financial barriers. Not applicable for a theoretical framework article; thus, this section is omitted. This study underscores the importance of tailored financial services for enhancing entrepreneurial success among marginalized populations such as female market women in urban slum settings. Microfinance programmes should be designed with a focus on improving business skills and operational efficiency, particularly for female entrepreneurs. Enhanced access to microloans combined with support services could lead to more sustainable business growth.
