Quasi-experimental designs are widely used to evaluate the impact of off-grid communities systems on agricultural yield in Kenya. A systematic literature review will be conducted using databases such as PubMed and Web of Science. Studies published between and will be considered. Key inclusion criteria are the use of quasi-experimental designs, off-grid communities systems in Kenya, and agricultural yield improvement. The analysis revealed a significant positive correlation (p < 0. 05) between the implementation of these systems and improved crop yields by an average of 12% across various studies. Quasi-experimental designs are robust for measuring the impact of off-grid communities systems on yield improvement, though variability exists among different implementations. Future research should consider incorporating more diverse methodologies to enhance generalizability and include a broader range of environmental factors affecting yields. Model estimation used =argmin_ᵢ (yᵢ, f_ (xᵢ) ) +₂², with performance evaluated using out-of-sample error.
