Risk reduction is a critical aspect of maintaining field research stations in Senegal's agricultural sector. A mixed-method approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative panel-data analysis was employed to estimate the impact of risk reduction strategies. Risk levels were significantly reduced by 20% in agricultural outputs due to improved irrigation systems, a finding supported by robust standard errors (95% CI: -18. 4%, -21. 6%). The panel-data estimation approach successfully identified the efficacy of risk reduction strategies. Enhanced investment in adaptive agricultural infrastructure is recommended to further mitigate risks at field stations.
