Recent comparative legal studies in Africa have highlighted the unique challenges faced by different regions within the continent. The study employs a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis of legal documents and public policies. A significant proportion (45%) of surveyed legal practitioners reported challenges in implementing the Nigerian Constitution, particularly around fiscal federalism issues. Despite efforts to harmonize regional laws, divergences continue to affect policy effectiveness across different African jurisdictions. Enhanced inter-regional collaboration and legislative alignment are recommended to address these challenges effectively.
