Adding ezetimibe to statin therapy after acute coronary syndromes lowers LDL cholesterol below previous targets and provides additional cardiovascular benefit.
When added to statin therapy, ezetimibe resulted in incremental lowering of LDL cholesterol levels and improved cardiovascular outcomes.
