Technological innovations have shifted the nature of cyber threats from being simple to complex. One of the inventive methods in this direction is Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) whose embedding in IT security systems is a hopeful way of proper recognition and reaction to the threats. This paper investigates the association of XAI with the field of cybersecurity, focusing on AI explainability, through which cybersecurity workers can be surer about the part of AI in their field. Besides the fact that XAI is making the decision processes of AI engines totally clear, security analysts do not have to deal with "black box" systems in which the team is told and they use the data in a practical way, thus, security teams are able to apply the right decisions through the actual insights that they get.
