Objective: This study adapted the Greene Climacteric Scale into Turkish and evaluated its psychometric properties among Turkish-speaking women. Methods: Following a standard forward-backward translation procedure, the Turkish version of the Greene Climacteric Scale was administered to a sample of 300 women aged 40 years and above.Cross-cultural construct validity was assessed using confirmatory factor analysis, while internal consistency and test-retest reliability were evaluated to determine the scale's measurement robustness.Descriptive statistics were used to summarize participants' demographic characteristics. Results:The confirmatory factor analysis revealed a four-factor structure. The model fit indices indicated an acceptable fit (/df = 2.18; RMSEA = 0.063, 95% CI: 0.054-0.071;SRMR = 0.075; CFI, TLI, GFI > 0.95).The standardized factor loadings ranged from 0.430 to 0.992, all exceeding the accepted threshold. The Greene Climacteric Scale-Turkish Version demonstrated excellent internal consistency, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.924 and subscale reliabilities ranging from 0.794 to 0.887.The test-retest reliability was high, particularly for the "psychological" and "vasomotor" subscales (ICC > 0.90).The "somatic" and "loss of sexual interest" subscales also exhibited good stability (ICC > 0.80).The sample had a median total the Greene Climacteric Scale-Turkish Version score of 17 (Q1-Q3: 11-26). Conclusion:The Greene Climacteric Scale-Turkish Version is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing climacteric symptoms in Turkish women. Its robust psychometric properties endorse its utility in both clinical settings and epidemiological research involving midlife women.
