DOI Description This manifesto presents BAAM-A as an epistemic and processual framework for the analysis of Linear A. Writing is modeled primarily as an administrative instrument for the representation, control, and regulation of processes. Phonetic interpretation is treated as a secondary, optional specialization within an established written workflow, rather than as the origin of writing. BAAM-A (Bilanz–Administrative–Accounting–Model for Linear A) is an independent methodological framework developed at Cryptohistory Lab Potsdam. It focuses on the functional and structural dimensions of Linear A inscriptions. Rather than relying on palaeographic or linguistic interpretations, BAAM-A provides a contextual and structural-analytical approach. The framework does not claim decipherment. Its purpose is to offer a complementary methodological layer for the study of Aegean scripts. BAAM-A is currently in a methodological development phase. Concept, structure, modeling and coding: M.G.
