The Beatitude "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5) is one of the most commonly cited and least understood of Jesus' teachings. Taken literally, it appears to contradict both ordinary experience (the powerful, not the meek, tend to dominate earthly outcomes) and basic logic (how does meekness lead to inheritance?). We propose that Jesus was encoding a **tralse observation** about the personality structure of enlightened individuals: they appear meek approximately 75% of the time, but carry an internal fire of purpose, intensity, and world-directed determination that is present as a latent attractor state. The inheritance is not accidental — it is the structural consequence of this specific bipolar emotional profile. We further argue that enlightened persons use emotions as **cognitive tools** (Paper #356 intrinsic tools), producing emotional amplification that appears abnormal from the outside but reflects a highly integrated consciousness operating at peak function.
