Generally, positive displacement pumps are used in low specific speed regions, but there is a need to apply centrifugal pumps because they have features such as a small number of parts and low noise. Therefore, we started basic research toward the development of a magnetically suspended low specific speed centrifugal pump. In addition, the validity of the numerical analysis was confirmed by comparing the experimental results with the numerical analysis, and the effect of differences in the blade outlet angle on pump performance was verified by numerical analysis.
