In this study, the damage information about factories and other facilities caused by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake was collected through the company press releases and government reports, and the damage to equipment or facilities were extracted. Analysis of 33 damage cases obtained from public sources showed that damage reports were confirmed at the areas experiencing a JMA seismic intensity of 4 or higher in the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Many equipment-related damage occurred in the machinery manufacturing sector. Specific types of damage were the collapse of building wall and ceiling panels, and damage to piping and ducts. It was also confirmed that infrastructure disruption had an impact on factory recovery. Regarding the use of generative AI for damage information collection, it appears to be useful for the initial screening of information from government reports.
