The present paper analyzes the impact of digital transformation using agile capabilities on the way a business operates. More specifically, it examines the critical success factors of digital transformation, considering the agile capabilities applied in a business. The critical factors examined are agile maturity, agile education, culture, innovation, technology and knowledge. To investigate the above effects, a quantitative survey was carried out, via an electronic questionnaire, with the final sample being formed of 124 employees working in a company that has completed digital transformation. The findings obtained through PLS-SEM data analysis confirmed the strong impact of agile maturity, agile education, innovation and technology with the success of digital transformation, while it was shown that knowledge and culture may not directly affect the success of digital transformation, but they seem to have an indirect impact, with technology acting as a full mediator in this relationship.
