In this study, we developed a method of picking up small objects such as wireless earphones using the drone on uneven surfaces like railway tracks. The method with the magnetic pickup device is composed of flying above the wireless earphones and landing for pickup under the drone airflow. Flow simulation showed that the pickup is difficult on flat ground but possible on uneven surfaces due to airflow effects. The magnetic pickup device was developed using the six pieces of the 32 mm magnets with high flux per gram under 177 g to satisfy the payload conditions. Protector was added to prevent the magnet from attaching to the rail. In a pickup flight experiment on railroad track, the drone successfully collected 4 out of 5 earphones within 60 seconds.
