The deliverable D6.4 of the TERASUN project focuses on embedding a gender-sensitive approach and addressing ethical considerations throughout the project’s lifespan. A primary goal is to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential gender biases that may influence research methodologies, innovation outcomes, or stakeholder engagement processes. This deliverable aligns with the broader objectives of TERASUN to uphold principles of fairness, inclusivity, and transparency within sustainable innovation. To initiate these efforts, a seminar was conducted in the first semester, offering project partners practical guidance on integrating gender considerations into research and innovation processes. This seminar provided foundational knowledge on the importance of gender perspectives in research, equipping team members with tools to recognize and counteract biases in project activities, from data collection to technology deployment.
