In this paper we present a compilation of organic compound spectra dispersed into six datasets that are organized in a progressive order to supplement the instruction of organic spectroscopy. The 268 spectra of 63 compounds consist of high-resolution experimental data. The molecules were strategically chosen and arranged to build the foundation for organic spectra interpretation. Each dataset is dedicated to the introduction of a new technique or skill while constantly reinforcing the concepts of earlier datasets. The experimental data consists of 1H NMR, 13C NMR, infrared spectrophotometry (IR), and mass spectrometry (MS) spectra for all compounds and additional Distortionless Enhancement by Polarization Transfer (DEPT) and HETeronuclear CORrelation spectroscopy (HETCOR) spectra for more difficult compounds. The spectral datasets are available in electronic form on the World Wide Web. They can be used by students for self-study or by instructors to supplement the coverage of their existing organic chemistry curriculum.
