Abstract This study explores antimicrobial use (AMU) in a voluntary sample of Canadian adult hematology/oncology wards between 2018 and 2023. Although use of third- and fourth-generation cephalosporins significantly increased, overall AMU decreased by 25%. As trends change over time, ongoing surveillance is needed to guide AMU optimization in this high-risk setting.
